Responsibilities
The teaching assistant will support the course instructor with tasks such as grading exams and assignments. They are also expected to assist with proctoring duties during the semester.
Requirements
Candidates should possess knowledge in Indigenous studies, acquired through experience or academic study. Familiarity with the Brightspace learning platform is considered an asset.

Description of tasks (hours):
Unless specified below, specific allocation of hours to various tasks should be articulated in a description of work negotiated and signed by you and the supervising professor prior to the commencement of work.
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Les tâches spécifiques de l'assistant seront discutées avec le superviseur et peuvent inclure : la correction des examens et des devoirs, et la surveillance.
Qualifications : La priorité sera accordée aux candidats possédant des connaissances (acquises par l'expérience ou les études) en études autochtones. Une expérience de la plateforme Brightspace constitue un atout. Les assistants d'enseignement doivent être disponibles aux dates et aux heures où le cours est dispensé.
Le nombre d'heures ou de postes peut varier en fonction des inscriptions.
