The Area Representative implements the ministry plan to foster discipleship among coaches and athletes within assigned sports environments. They are responsible for recruiting and developing volunteers, managing area finances, and securing funding through donor partnerships.
Candidates must adhere to the FCA Christian Community Statement and maintain a consistent spiritual rhythm of prayer and Bible study. They must be capable of providing spiritual leadership and managing financial stewardship for their assigned region.
The Representative works with the Directors to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission and live the FCA Values by implementing the ministry plan for the assigned area. In the FCA Sports Environments, the Representative ensures there is a consistent approach to discipleship -- making disciples who make disciples. The Representative is accountable for ensuring that the FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and adheres to FCA policies and procedures.
