The Resident Assistant provides support to shelter residents while maintaining a safe and hospitable environment. Key duties include monitoring resident activities, conducting security checks, and performing administrative intake tasks.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree preferred. Candidates must possess crisis intervention skills and the ability to work a flexible, challenging schedule.
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Resident Assistant will provide support to shelter residents and create a hospitable and safe environment in the Men's shelter. This is a part-time position, 8 hours per week (Thursdays - "C" shift 10:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.)
