The RN Manager oversees the daily operations of nursing services in a behavioral health setting, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance. They are responsible for staffing, budget management, and supervising the clinical milieu to maintain a safe environment for clients.
Candidates must be a licensed RN with at least three years of experience, including two years in behavioral health and one year in a leadership role. A BSN and certification in Psychiatric Nursing are preferred, while CPR and de-escalation certifications are required.
About the Job:
The Nurse Manager assists the DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising the effective and efficient operations of nursing in the delivery of behavioral health care to all clients. Responsible for the clinical management of the milieu, coordination of client care and staffing according to predetermined guidelines, monitoring and functioning within budget, supervision of staff, and maintenance of regulatory standards in a manner that assures the deliverance of quality care in a safe and cost-effective manner.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
