The Group Facilitator will deliver specialist therapeutic interventions and facilitate group sessions to support the rehabilitation and personal growth of residents. They will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess complex needs, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, and produce professional reports.
Candidates must have experience delivering group-based therapeutic support in a forensic, clinical, or custodial environment. A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in psychotherapy, counselling, or group analysis is required.

Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week (3 days)
As a Group Facilitator in our Therapeutic Community team at HMP Dovegate, you'll help deliver specialist therapeutic interventions that support rehabilitation, personal growth and lasting behavioural change. Through group-based therapeutic practice, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, constructive environment where individuals can develop healthier ways of thinking and living.
Our work touches lives every day. In this role, you'll contribute to a therapeutic community that helps individuals address complex needs, improve wellbeing and reduce the risk of reoffending. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you'll help create impactful solutions that deliver positive outcomes for residents, support safer communities and help impact a better future.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
