The Security Officer will manage vehicle and pedestrian access, conduct security searches, and perform traffic management duties to ensure the safety of the base. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate incident logs and providing a professional, welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence and UK Security Vetting (UKSV) clearance. A full UK manual driving licence and the ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern are also mandatory.

As a Security Officer in our RAF Brize Norton team, you’ll help protect and support the RAF’s largest operational base by delivering essential access, security, and traffic services. Your work will ensure colleagues, visitors, and contractors experience a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.
Every day, you’ll play a meaningful role in maintaining the integrity of this critical site. Whether you’re greeting visitors, supporting security activity, or helping keep the base moving smoothly, your contribution will create a positive impact and support operations that help protect the nation.
