About the Role
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer & Researcher to join our growing product team at Secomea. You'll be a key contributor in shaping our B2B SaaS platform, as we rebuild our UI on a new technical foundation and evolve our product practice in our organization.
You'll be part of the UX team, embedded within the Product Management team and reporting to the Director of Product Management. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, data-driven, and trust-worthy user experiences. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality design work end-to-end, running user research activities, and contributing to a scalable design system that ensures consistency and usability across our product.
Key Responsibilities
Design intuitive user experiences. Create wireframes, mockups, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes to validate concepts and gather feedback.
Conduct user research. Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations, working in close collaboration with the product management and engineering teams.
Own delivery beyond handoff. Partner closely with frontend and backend developers throughout implementation to identify technical constraints early and ensure high-quality execution and that design intent survives to the final product.
Contribute to our design system. Help evolve and maintain it for consistent, scalable, and efficient product development.
Advocate for the user. Bring a user-centered mindset into product discussions, recognizing that in B2B software the people who use the product and the people who decide to buy it are often different groups with different needs.
Raise UX maturity. Help build design practices, standards, and a shared understanding of UX value across the wider organization.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in product design and research within complex B2B SaaS environments.
Experience designing complex, data-heavy, role-based enterprise workflows removing the complexity from the user.
Confident applying and evolving established design systems, component libraries, and B2B UX patterns, rather than reinventing solutions from scratch.
A pragmatic approach to design methodology, knowing when a full end-to-end design process is warranted and when a faster, more direct path to a solution is the better call.
Comfortable operating in a matrix organization, working across teams without direct authority over all stakeholders.
Experience conducting usability tests, interviews, and other user research.
A track record of tying design work to measurable outcomes such as efficiency, Core Web Vitals, and satisfaction, not just shipping good-looking screens.
A genuine love for collaboration with other designers, product managers, product marketing managers, developers, and stakeholders across the business.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Skilled with tools like Figma, Amplitude, Confluence, and Dovetail.
Nice to have: experience creating AI-generated mockups or vibe-designing in Figma, grounded in real frontend components and your existing design system rather than built from scratch.
Nice to have: prior exposure to cybersecurity, OT (operational technology), or other complex, regulated B2B domains.
