The Associate Principal will lead strategic consulting engagements and manage client relationships for life sciences clients. They are also responsible for mentoring staff, driving business development, and overseeing the quality of project deliverables.

Requirements

Candidates must have a proven track record in strategy consulting within the life sciences industry and experience managing project teams. An advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD, or MD is highly preferred.

Description

Join SciVida as an Associate Principal and lead strategic consulting engagements for innovative life sciences clients. In this role, you'll manage client relationships, develop and mentor high-performing teams, and play an active role in business development and practice growth.

This is a hybrid position based in our Raleigh office.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage consulting engagements and client relationships
  • Guide engagement teams to develop: logical and insightful analyses; innovative and effective recommendations; and well-structured, high-quality deliverables
  • Oversee/manage teams to realize (and be accountable for) high levels of client satisfaction
  • Train, coach, and mentor staff
  • Assist in developing intellectual capital
  • Play active role in practice development
  • Help identify, pursue, and close business development opportunities


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Demonstrated track record of success in delivering strategy consulting engagements to life sciences companies (required)
  • Project management experience at management consulting firm, including experience managing staff/teams (required)
  • Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD, MD) (highly preferred)
  • A strong understanding of dynamics and issues in life sciences (required)
