The Procurement Officer is responsible for acquiring goods and services according to purchasing procedures and managing framework contracts. They collaborate with the Senior Supply Chain Officer on procurement planning, reception tracking, and vendor management.
Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, or a similar field and a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with an international NGO. Proficiency in French is required, and the ability to travel regularly to the field is essential.
Objet du Rôle
Le Procurement Officer assure l’acquisition des biens et services conformément aux procédures d’achat en vigueur. Il traite les demandes d’achat des projets, consulte les fournisseurs présélectionnés et gère les achats sous contrats-cadres. En collaboration avec le Senior Supply Chain Officer, il contribue à la planification des approvisionnements, au suivi des réceptions, à la gestion des fournisseurs et à la mise à jour des outils de suivi.
Il prépare également les dossiers d’audit et peut être mobilisé en dehors de ses fonctions habituelles lors d’urgences humanitaires.
