Responsible for conducting on-site facility condition assessments to document asset data and evaluate building systems. The role supports long-term capital planning by assessing the remaining service life of infrastructure assets.
Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field like Construction Management or Engineering, or 10+ years of equivalent experience. Candidates must have at least six years of professional experience in facilities assessment or building inspection.
This position is responsible for collecting and documenting facility asset data, evaluating building conditions, assessing remaining service life, and supporting long-term capital planning efforts.
The ideal candidate possesses strong construction management, engineering, architecture, or facilities experience and can identify building systems both visible and concealed within existing structures. This role requires frequent site visits, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and the use of mobile technology to collect and maintain facility data.
