Voor onze productie afdeling LOC in onze Manufacturing Site in Heist-op-den-Berg zijn wij op zoek naar een:
Productie Manager – afdeling Liquids, Ointments and Creams (LOC)
Welkom in ons team
De site in Heist-op-den-Berg is betrokken bij de productie, verpakking, testing en vrijgave van farmaceutische producten vanuit vier productie-eenheden (Integrated Process Teams). Deze omvatten de sterilisatie van API’s, formulering, afvulling en inspectie van steriele producten (Steriles); de productie en verpakking van tabletten en capsules (OSD); de productie en verpakking van jaarlijks meer dan 100 miljoen vloeistoffen, zalven en crèmes (LOC) en de verpakking van biotechnologische producten (Specialties). De afdeling LOC (Liquids, Ointments and Creams) bestaat uit circa 165 medewerkers.
Als Productie Manager (vroege/ late shift) leid je de afdeling in het kwalitatief verpakken van geneesmiddelen volgens de vooropgestelde planning. Je bent mee verantwoordelijk voor het realiseren van de afdelingsdoelstellingen op vlak van personeel, veiligheid, kwaliteit, planning en kosten. Je organiseert en superviseert alle productiegerelateerde activiteiten en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking met onder andere supply chain, kwaliteit en technische diensten. Je staat mee aan het roer van een efficiënt draaiende productieomgeving, waarin medewerkers zich ondersteund voelen en processen continu verbeteren. Je zal in deze job in shiften werken: je volgt een vaste ploeg die om de week alterneert in vroege en late shift.
Organiseren van de dagelijkse operatie
Je zorgt voor een optimale inzet van onze (multifunctionele) operatoren op basis van de productieplanning en de nodige kwalificaties. Daarbij bewaak je de efficiëntie en effectiviteit van de van de verschillende stappen in het verpakkingsproces, en zorg je voor continuïteit in de nodige competenties/kwalificaties van de operatoren.
Sturen op output en efficiëntie
Je volgt uurrapportages nauwgezet op, evalueert efficiënties en grijpt in waar nodig. Samen met het team werk je aan het zichtbaar maken van problemen (tier processen), het definiëren en uitvoeren van verbeterdoelen en neem je actief deel aan optimalisatieprojecten.
Waarborgen van veiligheid en kwaliteit
Je draagt de veiligheids- en milieucultuur actief uit binnen het team. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van de producten en zorgt voor naleving van alle procedures en werkinstructies.
Beheer van documentatie en processen
Je houdt operationele werkinstructies en standaardprocedures up-to-date en zorgt voor een nette, georganiseerde en visueel overzichtelijke werkplek.
Budgetvoorbereiding en operationele input
Je levert input aan het budget voor operationele activiteiten, je zorgt voor een personeelsbezetting volgens budget en bewaakt de efficiëntie van de ingezette middelen.
Personeelsplanning en coaching van team van 40 technisch polyvalent en lijnoperatoren (met twee collega productie managers)
Je stelt de wekelijkse planning voor de operatoren op, bent verantwoordelijk voor het opvolgen van de planning en de geleverde prestaties. Je coacht, stuurt bij, en zorgt ervoor dat je medewerkes hun rol optimaal kunnen invullen. Je voert evaluatie-, continuïteits- en sollicitatiegesprekken en staat mee in voor het opleidingstraject van alle medewerkers.
Assistentie / back-up
Je ondersteunt de IPT Lead (Integrated Production Team Lead) bij de uitvoering van procedures, het opstarten van nieuwe processen en het opvolgen van operationele taken. Indien nodig neem je diens verantwoordelijkheden waar, ook tijdens shiften of in andere afdelingen.
