The RRM Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of emergency lifesaving commodity distributions to crisis-affected populations in northern Yemen. This role involves coordinating with partners, managing response data, and ensuring adherence to humanitarian standards and reporting requirements.
Candidates must hold a university degree and possess at least 5 years of experience in humanitarian programming, including 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in English and Arabic, along with experience in complex, insecure environments, is essential for this position.
The RRM Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating the RRM response implemented by partners. The primary function of the RRM Coordinator will be to ensure quality implementation of the RRM. The mechanism prepositions and distributes emergency lifesaving commodities to populations affected by new crisis within 72 hours of trigger. The position holder will develop strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and with external partners including authorities and RRM implementing partners; ensure the application of effective programme planning, monitoring and evaluation principles; identify bottlenecks in RRM implementation and devise strategies to address them; and provide leadership to ensure that technical knowledge is updated and disseminated for effective implementation.
