The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining site safety through internal and external foot patrols and monitoring access control. They also provide customer service by greeting visitors and managing front-desk duties at a high-profile government location.
Candidates must be Australian citizens with a valid QLD Security Licence and Certificate II in Security Operations. First Aid/CPR certification and an Employee Blue Card are required or must be obtainable.

MSS Security is looking for a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team in a full-time, Monday to Friday position. This role is based in Woodridge and offers the rare benefit of a stable weekday roster. You’ll play a key role in maintaining site safety while supporting day-to-day operations at this high profile government location.
Perform internal and external foot patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment
Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, offering assistance, and managing front-desk responsibilities
Monitor access control and issue visitor passes
Respond to incidents and escalate as necessary, following site protocols
Work collaboratively with site management
Australian Citizenship
Valid QLD Security Licence
Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher)
Employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
