At MSCI, we're looking for a Sr. Associate, Client Service to become a trusted advisor for our Private Assets clients. In this role, you'll combine your investment expertise, analytical mindset, and client-facing skills to help investors unlock the full value of our industry-leading Private i platform.
You'll work alongside talented colleagues across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Consulting, influencing product innovation while helping clients make smarter investment decisions.
Private i is MSCI's flagship private assets investment analytics platform, designed to help investors manage private market portfolios with confidence. By bringing together extensive private capital datasets in one powerful platform, Private i enables clients to:
Analyze the performance of individual funds and entire portfolios
Measure risk across industries, regions, and strategies
Benchmark portfolios against one of the industry's most comprehensive private capital datasets
Gain clear, actionable insights to support better investment decisions and liquidity management
Your Key Responsibilities
What you'll do:
As a Sr. Associate, Client Service, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our clients maximize the value of MSCI's Private Assets solutions. You will:
Become a subject matter expert on the Private i platform and the broader MSCI Private Assets product suite.
Partner closely with institutional investors to understand their workflows, investment processes, and business objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and resolving complex product and analytical questions.
Deliver exceptional product support and ensure timely resolution of client inquiries.
Build long-term client relationships through proactive engagement, regular follow-ups, and a consultative approach.
Lead platform demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and training workshops that help clients get the most from our solutions.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal teams to validate platform enhancements, influence product development, and advocate for client needs.
Act as the voice of the client within MSCI while representing MSCI as a trusted partner to our clients.

We're looking for someone who combines strong financial knowledge with a passion for client success and continuous learning.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
6–8+ years of experience in Financial Services, Investment Management, FinTech, or a related industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and new challenges.
Experience working with global teams and collaborating across functions and regions.
Strong relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Deep understanding of global financial markets and institutional investors.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:
Portfolio analysis or performance measurement
Investment analytics or private markets
Client-facing roles supporting investment technology or financial software
Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, CIPM, FRM, or an MBA
