The Senior Forward Deployed Engineer acts as the primary technical owner for customer engagements, managing the end-to-end process from discovery to production rollout. They are responsible for building integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and providing critical feedback to the product and engineering teams.
Candidates must have 5-8 years of engineering experience with a strong background in production environments and enterprise software deployment. Proficiency in AI and agentic development, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, is required.

They partner directly with customers to design, build, troubleshoot, and improve production solutions, and they are ultimately accountable for helping customers get to production.
This role is best suited for engineers who want to own technical outcomes end to end: understanding what a customer is trying to build, shipping the integration, and feeding learnings back into the product roadmap.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
