The Developmental Specialist supports individuals in achieving their personal goals and dreams while facilitating community integration. Responsibilities include providing emotional and physical support, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with daily living tasks like housekeeping and meal preparation.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities, or substance use disorders is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Monday (4:00pm-8:00pm), Friday (4:00pm-9:00pm) and Saturday (10:00am-9:00pm)Experience working with children or adults (dependent upon population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use disorder | Not Required
• Sleepover at a residential setting may be required.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
• Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
• Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
