The Developmental Specialist supports individuals in achieving their personal goals and dreams while ensuring their emotional, physical, and medical needs are met. Responsibilities include facilitating community participation, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with daily living tasks in a residential setting.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Week 1: Wednesday:2pm - 9pm, Thursday: 3pm-11pm, Friday 3pm -11pm, Saturday 9am -10pmExperience working with children or adults (dependent upon population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use disorder | Not Required
• Sleepover at a residential setting may be required.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
• Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
• Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
