Candidates must have at least two years of experience supporting individuals with psychiatric diagnoses, substance use, or homelessness. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and CPR/First Aid certifications are required.
The Program Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for MHA’s SHIFT Avon transitional residential program and permanent supportive housing outreach program. This role supports individuals in recovery from substance use and mental health challenges as they work toward stable housing and independent living. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, overseeing daily operations, and guiding residents through recovery and life skills development. The Supervisor also supports treatment planning, relapse prevention, crisis intervention, and ensures program compliance with MHA and BSAS standards.
Pay Range: $50,000-53,000 annually
Open Shift: Monday through Friday 8am-4pm (40hrs)
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Division of Recovery Services (DRS) supports individuals of all ages navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Our youth residential programs provide a safe, structured environment for adolescents involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to address behavioral health needs. For adults, DRS offers residential and outreach support for those in recovery or living with addiction, including many with co-occurring mental health concerns. Through compassionate, trauma-informed care, we help individuals build coping skills, restore stability, and work toward long-term recovery and wellness.
