Un Strategic Sourcing Manager (Commodities) es responsable de desarrollar e implementar la estrategia de sourcing para la categoría de proteína vegetal, asegurando el suministro oportuno de materiales de calidad y adecuados para nuestras plantas en México. Además, trabajará de la mano con equipos globales y regionales para evaluar riesgos y oportunidades derivados de la volatilidad del mercado, creando estrategias de gestión de riesgo de precios que permitan mantener la competitividad y la integridad financiera del negocio.
La sustentabilidad y la responsabilidad social serán pilares fundamentales de esta posición, colaborando estrechamente con áreas como Corporate Affairs, R&D y Sustainability. Asimismo, la posición tendrá responsabilidad sobre la categoría de microingredientes y liderazgo directo de un Sr Buyer.
Como parte del rol, también participarás en el desarrollo e implementación de estrategias de compra por subcategoría, impulsando iniciativas regionales y globales mediante relaciones estratégicas con proveedores, así como proyectos de estandarización y automatización. La colaboración cross-functional y el trabajo cercano con stakeholders clave serán esenciales para el éxito en esta posición.
Licenciatura o grado avanzado en Administración de Empresas, Ingeniería, Agroindustria o un campo técnico relacionado.
Más de 7 años de experiencia profesional.
Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en áreas de Procurement / Compras o funciones comerciales.
Amplio entendimiento de materias primas, procesos de transformación y mercados de commodities.
Capacidad para trabajar en entornos multiculturales, mercados volátiles y manejar la ambigüedad.
Inglés avanzado (obligatorio)
Desarrollar y ejecutar estrategias de abastecimiento utilizando el framework de Mars y las herramientas adecuadas para la categoría de mercado.
Participar activamente como miembro del Global Category Team y establecer/mantener relaciones de trabajo con los gerentes de compras de la categoría en la región.
Desarrollar e implementar contratos regionales/globales y sus respectivos Service Level Agreements (SLA), asegurando precios, rebates por volumen, capacidad y niveles de servicio.
Desarrollar expertise en la categoría de sourcing para brindar insights de mercado y financieros, así como inputs estratégicos para el plan operativo.
