Role Description
The Office 365 Architect will define, design and govern LSEG’s Office 365 services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, compliant and aligned to business needs. The role will cover all related Office 365 capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Own the target architecture and roadmap for Office 365 services.
Design secure and supportable solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and related services.
Provide architecture oversight for migrations, integrations, enhancements and new service introductions.
Take new integrations, services and significant changes through the LSEG governance process, including architecture review, required documentation and approvals.
Work with Cyber Security, Identity, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements.
Define standards for tenant configuration, collaboration, external sharing, guest access, retention, information protection and lifecycle management.
Maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, decision records and service patterns.
Assess Microsoft roadmap changes and recommend improvements to security, resilience, usability and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Office 365 architecture within a large enterprise.
Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and Office 365 administration.
Strong understanding of Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, hybrid identity and privileged access.
Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities, including Purview, DLP, retention and sensitivity labels.
Experience designing governance models for Teams, SharePoint, external sharing and collaboration services.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, service introduction, operational readiness and technology governance.
Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
