The Role

Are you ready to join the team of software engineering experts at Kyndryl? We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to contribute to our software engineering space and provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products.

As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more. You will be a leader – contributing knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills. Your leadership will be demonstrated in your work, to your customers, and within your teams.

Your aim throughout, is to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the use of technology and technical methods and methodologies.

Driving the design, development, integration, delivery, and evolution of highly scalable distributed software you will integrate with other layers and offerings. You will provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle.

Your continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline. You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product.

As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture. We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Prism analytics and Reports developer to join our CIO Hire to Retire team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Prism analytics, Reports development, Core HCM, as well as a strong ability to collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders. This role will manage and enhance Workday Project workstream.

Key Responsibilities
Workday Prism analytics and Reports Developer:

• Configure, manage, and optimize the Workday Projects Module.
• Seamlessly use worker profile data and skills profiles from Workday HCM.
• Use dynamic resource pools and flexible faceted search to automate resource assignment and improve utilization.
• Plan and track projects and tasks , Utilize resource pools, work plans, and project hierarchies.
• Integrate to external project systems such as Microsoft Project.
• Configure company and work-specific business process workflows.
• Ensure alignment of workforce and resources to strategic goals.
• Work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that Extend application meet those requirements.
• Serve as a Workday expert with deep knowledge of design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas in consideration of future product direction.
• Understanding of Workday Reports, Time Tracking Integrations, APIs(Rest and SOAP) as well as Workday Security.

System Maintenance & Updates:

• Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features, and work with the team to evaluate and implement new functionality as
appropriate. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure that team members are engaged, motivated, and productive.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to define security policies, manage user access requests, and ensure compliance with internal security standards.
• Document and communicate security configurations, changes, and improvements to all relevant stakeholders.

ServiceNow Ticket Management:
• Use ServiceNow for managing and tracking all security-related tickets including access issues, system audits, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

• Ensure tickets are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of user satisfaction

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2-3 years of Technical and Professional Expertise

• Skilled in one or more of the following areas: Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Reporting, Workday HCM.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• And/or Master Certified Technical Specialist

• Workday Pro Certification in Prism analytics, Reports Developer and other HCM modules preferred.
