The agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and handling room assignments and reservations. They also coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and maintain a professional reception environment.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both French and English and possess strong customer service skills. Knowledge of hotel credit policies, payment processing, and safety procedures is required.
· Enregistrer les clients et attribuer les chambres, en répondant aux demandes spéciales dans la mesure du possible.
· Préinscription complète et blocage des chambres pour les réservations / l'arrivée des clients.
· Bien comprendre et respecter les politiques et procédures appropriées en matière de crédit, d'encaissement de chèques et de traitement de l`argent comptant.
· Connaître l’emplacement des chambres, les types de chambres disponibles, et les tarifs.
Utiliser des techniques de vente suggestives pour vendre des chambres et promouvoir d'autres services de l'hôtel.
· Coordonner les mises à jour de l'état des chambres avec le service d'entretien en notifiant tous les départs, départs tardifs, enregistrements anticipés et demandes spéciales
· Posséder une connaissance pratique des réservations, prendre les réservations des clients à la fois interne ou au téléphone, compréhension des procédures d'annulation.
· Traiter les départs des clients.
· Enregistrer et facturer tous les frais dans les comptes clients.
· Travailler en étroite collaboration avec tous les départements de l'hôtel pour améliorer la prestation de services et l'efficacité.
· Utiliser les bonnes étiquettes téléphoniques.
· Coordonner les travaux de maintenance des chambres avec le département du Housekeeping, la gouvernante et la maintenance.
· Signaler tout événement ou demande inhabituel au responsable ou au superviseur.
· Connaître toutes les procédures de sécurité et d'urgence, connaître les politiques de prévention des accidents.
· Assurer que l'environnement de travail est bien organisé à tout moment incluant les espaces client de la réception.
· Respecter toutes les directives et normes en matière de santé et de sécurité.
