The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for executing relationship strategies at key accounts and managing distributor operations to achieve sales targets in Central India. They will also translate customer insights into new business leads while liaising with supply chain and production teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering or Alcohol Technology. A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the Fermentation Alcohol industry with strong technical knowledge of enzymes and yeast solutions is required.

Responsible for executing our relationship strategy at key accounts and manage distributor operation.
Engage with customers in Commercial, Marketing, Technical and Application discussions (e.g., marketing trends, consumer insights, performance optimization, etc).
Achieve Sales Targets and Business Objectives in Central India in line with the Grain Processing Business Strategy and Annual Sales Budget Plan.
Support Distributors to develop strategy and execute plans.
Understand needs and challenges of customers (key accounts), build and manage strategic relationships at key accounts to identify win-win opportunities and grow revenues while meeting unmet needs of the customer, enabling customer to achieve own objectives with our solutions.
Maintain up to date knowledge on market developments and trends, competitive intelligence etc., to ensure relevance of market strategy.
Liaise with supply chain group, production, SBU and other functions to ensure proper and smooth supply to customers.
Maintain updated CRM - account profiles, account plans, call reports and opportunity pipeline etc.
Translate customers’ insights and unmet needs into new business leads.
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Alcohol Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or any other relevant discipline.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Fermentation Alcohol Industry.
Strong knowledge of Enzymes and yeast solutions in Fermentation Alcohol (FA) and Carbohydrate Processing (CP) Industry.
Proven value selling and negotiation skills, ability to influence.
Existing network and expertise in Central India Fermentation Alcohol and Carbohydrate Processing Industry.
Good commercial, marketing and technical acumen that enables identification of Commercial, Marketing and Technical needs, and proposal of an optimized solution.
Effective listening, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
High drive and self-motivated, flexible and good agility in a global business environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and regionally.
Resilient to setbacks and strong drive for impact.
Proactive and independent.
Ability to work and manage time, prioritize un-supervised and a great team player.
