The teacher will lead and coordinate individualized student programs while developing and monitoring IEP goals. They are also responsible for designing structured learning environments and collaborating with therapists and behavior specialists.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field and possess Rhode Island Department of Education certification in Severe/Profound Special Education. At least one year of teaching experience is preferred, along with CPR and First Aid certification.

We are excited to welcome a Special Education Teacher to our RIDE‑approved classroom in Providence with the age group being 12-15 year old students (Near Hope Street on the East Side of Providence). This established program serves young learners with disabilities in a nurturing, innovative, and highly individualized environment— currently with eight (8) students.
Salary: $60,000- $90,738 Annually (Based on education & experience)
Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8:15AM-3:30PM; Tuesdays are 8:15AM-4:15PM
