The Senior AI Engineering Lead will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows on the Azure stack. They will also establish engineering standards, mentor developers, and collaborate with business units to deliver governed AI solutions.
Candidates must have 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on LLM/GenAI systems and 2+ years of leadership experience. Proficiency in .NET/C# and Python, along with deep expertise in Azure AI services and enterprise architecture, is required.
The Senior AI Engineering Lead owns the technical delivery of enterprise AI solutions at AJ Gallagher. Reporting to the Director of AI, you will lead the design, build, and deployment of production AI systems - RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and Copilot integrations - on our Azure and .NET/Python stack. You will set engineering standards for a growing AI team, mentor developers, and partner directly with business units to turn ambiguous problems into shipped, governed, production-grade AI products in a regulated insurance environment.
