Mortgage & Commercial Lending Support Specialist
Australian Mortgage/Finance Industry

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Commercial Lending Support Specialist to assist in managing a diverse pipeline of residential, business, and commercial lending transactions.

This role will support a broker working across:

Residential home lending
Commercial property finance
Business and start-up lending (including financials and cash flow forecasting)

The successful candidate will contribute directly to deal execution, financial analysis, and process efficiency, supporting more complex lending scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Support both residential and commercial loan applications end-to-end

Assist with:

Commercial loan preparation and structuring support
Review of financial documents (company financials, BAS, cash flow forecasts)
Business loan documentation and submission packs

Work across:

Asset finance transactions
Self-employed borrower scenarios
Combined residential and commercial applications
Prepare lender-ready submission documents and supporting summaries
Identify gaps or risks in deal structures and escalate appropriately
Maintain accurate and well-structured client and deal records
Assist in improving internal workflows and file management systems

Core Competencies:

Strong analytical capability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Clear and professional communication
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Key Requirements:

3–7+ yrs experience in mortgage broking support
Strong experience in Australian residential lending
Demonstrated exposure to: Commercial lending, business lending, or asset finance
Ability to interpret: Financial statements, Income structures for self-employed borrowers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail and ownership
Direct experience supporting Australian commercial brokers or lenders preferred
Exposure to SME or business lending environments preferred
Experience working across multi-product lending scenarios preferred
