The driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of HGV vehicles on routes between depots and client sites. They must also ensure accurate documentation and assist depot staff with the handling of heavier items.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlements, a driver's CPC, and a digital tachograph. A safety-first mindset and reasonable physical fitness are also required for the role.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Gatwick depot.
Night shifts typically start between 00:00 and 02:00.
Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the EVRi network. You’ll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weather don’t always play nicely, so you’ll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.
