The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure steam boilers, including monitoring controls, performing lab analyses, and conducting routine equipment maintenance. They must also manage water treatment systems and ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in an industrial manufacturing or chemical plant setting. Proficiency in troubleshooting boiler equipment and mechanical/electrical aptitude is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks.

Safely and efficient operation of steam boilers, monitoring and adjusting boiler controls, operate the water treatment system, performing routine monitoring including reading gauges, water and steam quality, performing lab analyses and recording the data. Performing equipment trouble shooting and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
