The role is accountable for ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and overseeing the overall financial management of Clearstream Europe AG. This includes managing financial accounting, controlling, regulatory reporting, and serving as the primary finance contact for the Executive Board and regulators.
Candidates must hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting with extensive experience in the banking or financial services sector. Strong expertise in HGB and IFRS, previous leadership experience, and proficiency in SAP tools are required.
The Head of HGB Banking Reporting holds full accountability for ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB), including the preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosures for both banking and non-banking entities. In addition, the role as Head of Finance CEU is responsible for the overall financial management of Clearstream Europe AG (CEU). This encompasses financial accounting, controlling, planning, and forecasting, as well as internal budget, cost and revenue management and internal financial reporting. The role serves as the primary point of contact for all finance-related matters towards the Executive Board and represents CEU`s financial interests towards internal stakeholders as well as regulators and external stakeholders, including BaFin, Deutsche Bundesbank and external auditors.
