The Quality Assurance Technician II is responsible for testing and inspecting products and materials at various production stages to ensure quality standards. This includes conducting audits, measuring machinery output, and utilizing problem-solving tools to determine root causes of defects.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in vinyl extrusion. Proficiency with precision measuring tools, SPC, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

The Quality Assurance Technician II tests and inspects products and materials at various stages of the production process. Conducts audits of Critical To Quality (CTQ) processes and Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Measures and evaluates machinery output. Performs Receiving Inspection and investigates other material issues as needed. Takes an active role with on-going training of line employees. Is able to utilize appropriate problem-solving tools to determine the root causes of issues. Suggests ideas for and submits drafts of new CTQs and procedures.
