The Senior Accountant oversees general ledger management, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes. Key duties include managing revenue recognition under ASC 606, preparing financial statements, and supporting annual audits and tax compliance.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience in corporate or public accounting. Proficiency in US GAAP, NetSuite, and advanced Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting principles and practices. The Senior Accountant will support senior leadership by preparing accurate financial statements, assisting in audits, and maintaining compliance with accounting regulations. This position offers growth opportunities within the accounting department and allows for direct interaction with management to drive financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Support the monthly revenue recognition close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, revenue arrangement validation, and reconciliation of deferred and recognized revenue in accordance with ASC 606
