Requires the ability to perform technical and professional legal work under general supervision. Must be capable of independently developing work methods and sequences to address city legal issues.
The purpose of this position is to technical and professional work as legal advisor to the City Commission, City Manager and department directors on assigned issues of applicable local, State and Federal laws, regulations and ordinances affecting the City with an emphasis on laws, rules and regulations that pertain to Class C misdemeanors. This job works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
