The Video Infrastructure Engineer designs, maintains, and optimizes safety and security camera systems and supporting network infrastructure. This includes managing VMS platforms, retrieving evidentiary footage, and ensuring system uptime and cybersecurity compliance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and over 3 years of experience with IP-based surveillance and networking. Proficiency in VMS platforms and Windows Server environments is essential.
The Video Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of the department's safety and security camera systems and supporting network infrastructure. This position ensures reliable, secure, and high-quality video capture, storage, and retrieval to support law enforcement operations, investigations, and public safety initiatives.
