Meet the Team
The Manufacturing Operations team is the driving force behind the planning and execution of Cisco’s Operating Plan across our global manufacturing network. We provide the critical connection between Demand Planning and our Business Units to ensure seamless alignment with key business drivers. Our team focuses on optimizing inventory and buffer levels, managing the buffer process, and executing strategic product transitions. By leveraging deep analytics and scenario planning, we empower data-driven decision-making that directly impacts Cisco's market share and operational efficiency. Join us to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and shape the future of our product lifecycle management.
Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Operations Product Program Manager, you will drive the orchestration of Cisco’s Operating Plan across our manufacturing network, playing a pivotal role in connecting Demand Planning with Business Units to align critical business drivers. You will assist Product Planning and Fulfillment (PPF) teams with the Buffer process, serving as a key interface to the Inventory and Central Services teams. By developing and tracking full-stack buffer levels, driving inventory sizing, and managing aging Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory, you will ensure supply-demand alignment and support informed decision-making. Your leadership in orchestrating Quarterly Operations Planning Team (OPT) strategic plans, conducting scenario planning, and executing Project ID (PID) segmentation strategies will directly influence Cisco's operational efficiency. Furthermore, you will own planning strategies for product lifecycle management and product transitions, perform key analytics to support business sensing and market share trends, and facilitate critical OPT and BU planning meetings. Through your strategic stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration, you will ensure our supply chain remains resilient, agile, and aligned with our broader business objectives.
