Lead and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns specifically for winery, vineyard, and agribusiness clients. Manage client relationships and oversee tax planning, compliance, and consulting projects including inventory costing and ASC 740 provisions.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, with at least 2 years focused on the wine or agribusiness sector. A CPA, EA, or JD is required for the Manager level, while candidates for the Supervisor level should be working towards these certifications.
BPM—where caring and community are at the core of who we are—is seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor or Manager (depending on experience) with winery expertise to join our growing Tax practice. In this role, you will lead complex engagements, manage client relationships across the wine industry, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the unique operational, regulatory, and tax considerations of vineyards, wineries, and wine distributors and enjoys partnering with clients to navigate them successfully.
Note: Those within 45 minutes of a BPM office will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule.
