Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for flowthrough entities within the winery and agribusiness sectors. Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance support regarding excise taxes and beverage alcohol regulations.
Requires 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focusing on flowthrough taxation and experience with winery or agribusiness clients. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and a CPA is preferred.
Overview
BPM—where caring and community are at the core of who we are—is seeking a talented Tax Senior with winery experience to join our growing Flowthrough (PCS) Tax practice. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working with closely held businesses and has a strong understanding of the unique operational, accounting, and tax considerations of vineyards, wineries, and wine distributors.
As a key member of the team, you will support complex tax engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build meaningful client relationships while contributing to high-quality service delivery across the wine and agribusiness sector.
Note: Candidates within 45 minutes of a BPM office will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule.
