We understand that relocating is a big decision. To ensure a seamless transition, we offer relocation support for interstate and eligible candidates, including assistance with moving expenses and settling-in support, enabling you to focus on your new role and community from day one.
About Red Cross
Australian Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian movement. We support and empower people and communities in times of vulnerability. We act for humanity.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Australian Red Cross in the Northern Territory. As we embark on an exciting new chapter, underpinned by a refreshed strategy and strengthened governance, we're seeking an exceptional leader to drive our vision, impact, and growth across the region.
As Director, Northern Territory, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Australian Red Cross's humanitarian mission, leading strategy execution and operational performance to deliver meaningful outcomes for communities across the Territory. Combining strategic leadership with operational excellence, you will inspire and empower employees, volunteers, and members to achieve lasting impact, while fostering a high-performing culture grounded in our values and the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.

Proven track record as an approachable and collaborative leader
Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence and negotiate at a senior organisational level
Ability to consider external events and trends impacting the organisation and identify opportunities to influence the external environment
Demonstrated ability to make data and evidence driven decisions
Extensive and diverse expertise in the application of approaches in dealing with complex challenges and ability to lead and maximise a large and diverse workforce
Demonstrated capability to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and compliance frameworks/standards
To join us, you’ll need to complete key compliance checks including a National Police Check and a clearance to work with Children (Ochre Card) - we cover the cost and renewals as needed.
