The Support Worker manages client and stakeholder engagement to prevent social isolation through community programs. This includes coordinating the volunteer workforce and providing daily transport and social support services.
Candidates need experience working with vulnerable individuals or families within a community services setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work autonomously within a matrix structure are required.

Australian Red Cross’s Community Programs provide support for social connection, financial and digital literacy support, linking and referrals to appropriate support services. These programs include providing daily transport and social support. Such services are vital to ensure that clients are not at risk of becoming socially isolated.
The primary role of the Support Worker is client and stakeholder engagement within Red Cross Programs by ensuring the volunteer work force is utilised in the most efficient and effective manner whilst supporting the delivery of services and program operations.
