You will partner with internal divisions to provide commercially astute legal advice that supports the organization's humanitarian objectives. Additionally, you will ensure operational compliance with laws and regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current practicing certificate. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience is required, with at least 2 years of in-house legal experience preferred.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will partner with the divisions of Australian Red Cross to provide commercially astute legal advice to support our humanitarian objectives.
This role requires an experienced in house lawyer who thrives on working autonomously in a dynamic and diverse environment. Day to day you will support our program and services areas to operate effectively in compliance with laws and regulations. You will proactively identify legal risks and suggest practical solutions.

Australian Red Cross operates under a hybrid working model which includes two days on-site and three days from home, providing you more work/life balance.
