Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and facility equipment using technical diagrams and manuals. Performs advanced maintenance on building systems, production equipment, and electrical panels to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requires a high school diploma and the ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments. Preferred experience includes 5 years as an industrial electrician or working in an extrusion manufacturing environment.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and reconditioning machinery and facility equipment. This role works from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Responsibilities include performing advanced maintenance and repairs across the facility, including building systems, grounds, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and production equipment. The technician independently identifies issues, implements solutions, and ensures equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently.
This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
