The Fund Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations of funds, including Net Asset Value calculations and the preparation of periodic financial and regulatory reports. They also liaise with third parties such as investors, tax specialists, and auditors to ensure accurate fund administration.
Candidates must hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and possess at least 2 years of experience in Private Equity fund administration. Proficiency in accounting for investment products and strong knowledge of fund industry securities are essential.
