Manage all trucking and distribution functions, including the supervision of dispatchers, drivers, and field service personnel. Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and oversee the safe loading and filling of compressed gas cylinders.
Requires a high school degree and at least two years of experience in a distribution or logistics environment. Must be physically capable of heavy lifting and able to safely operate a forklift in various weather conditions.

San Luis Obispo, CA - Filling industrialThe role of the Distribution Supervisor is to handle all trucking and distribution functions for the specific location. Supervises and coordinates activities of all dispatchers, drivers, field service personnel and truck maintenance.
High school degree or the equivalent preferred, with two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with SAP is preferred. At least two years’ experience working in a distribution, logistics environment.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to perform very heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required.
Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities.
Ability to read and comprehend load sheets and materiel safety data sheets (MSDS).
Must be able to safely drive a forklift.
Must be able to work occasional overtime, if necessary.
Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10 to over 110 degrees.
