The technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of air separation plant equipment, including mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical devices. Key tasks include rebuilding mechanical equipment, calibrating transmitters, and performing preventative maintenance documented in the CMMS.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and preferably 2-5 years of industrial or cryogenic plant experience. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, using multimeters, and possess a valid driver's license.

Bozrah, CT (AMG) - ASUPay: The hourly base pay range for this position in CT is $35.00 - $40.00. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only. The Plant Maintenance Technician contributes to the successful operation and care of equipment used in the process of air separation; also bringing a commitment to the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment.
Collaborating safely around High voltage Electrical equipment, compressors, pumps, motors, valves; working on cryogenic process equipment such as pumps, valves, and hoses.
Completing basic disassembly and rebuild of mechanical equipment, changing out pumps, mechanical seals, collecting vibration readings, collecting oil samples, and greasing rotating equipment.
Supporting basic low voltage electrical system maintenance, process control loop and readout calibrations.
Calibrating and replacing transmitters with accuracy.
Completing Preventative Maintenance tasks and documenting them in the CMMS system. Removing and installing motors and pumps.
Growing knowledge of the ASU Process.
Supporting the team by covering shifts if a situation arises.
Collaborating with nearby plant teams during their shutdown or PM activities.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2 – 5 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.
Understanding of control valve functions, Instrument Calibration, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitter, etc.
Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment.
Comfortable working in a non-air conditioned environment.
Experienced with Multimeters (Fluke Multimeters).
Able to climb and work on heights (>100 ft).
Computer Experience, must be familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation.
Experience with Electrical / Instrumentation equipment in a plant environment.
Candidate with a strong Mechanical background in a plant environment.
