- Conducts recruitment activities statewide, e.g.

- Prior customer service and recruitment experience
- Complete employee engagement prior to the interview for 1-4 hours
- One (1) year minimum Sergeant experience

A current Arizona driver's license appropriate to the assignment is required at the time of appointment.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

SPECIAL SELECTION FACTOR(S)-THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED:
Employees must currently be a Correctional Sergeant with the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry, have worked a minimum of 12 months at the current division/institution by the close date of the announcement, and received at least a meets expectations overall rating on their most recent performance evaluation.
Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
The ideal candidate will have public speaking, oral presentation, customer service, and computer experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of experience as a Correctional Sergeant with the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry.

EVALUATION AND TESTING PROCESS:
Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of training and experience.
