The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for leading the culinary, stewarding, and outlet teams to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction. They also oversee financial planning, including operating budgets and marketing strategies, to maximize profitability and maintain the hotel's luxury reputation.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel food and beverage operations. A university degree or college diploma in hospitality management or a culinary institute is preferred, along with valid food safety and service certifications.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the food & beverage, guest service, quality and consistency is maintained to exceed all other properties within the city. Through your leadership and by engaging your team, Fairmont Hotel Macdonald's food & beverage experience will set the ultimate luxury standard and create memorable experience in a building which is the social centerpiece of the city of Edmonton.
