Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of essential business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Familiarity with database security management and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with database monitoring tools and automation of routine tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
