Build and repair wooden pallets using recycled materials and lumber to return them to service-ready condition. Maintain a clean and safe working environment while meeting production quotas and quality standards.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions.
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to load and unload trailer with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently! We’re looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace!
$18.00/hr.
Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm
Atlanta, GA, 30315
Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant
Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area
Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height
Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind
1-3 years of forklift experience
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
Ability to communicate effectively
Willing to work overtime as needed

Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
