Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse to support production and handle customer trailer loading and unloading. Additional duties include hand-sorting and repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of forklift experience, with certification preferred. Candidates must be able to perform labor-intensive work in extreme conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

Maintain a clean & safe working environment
High School Diploma or GED
Forklift certification preferred
1-3 years of forklift experience
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
Ability to communicate effectively
Willing to work overtime as needed

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
