The Role You’ll Play
The Material Handler - Shipping is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This position ensures inventory accuracy, prepares shipments, operates material handling equipment, and maintains compliance with company quality, safety, and ISO standards while supporting daily warehouse and shipping operations.
What You’ll Do
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to safely load, unload, move, stage, store, and organize materials and finished goods.
Load and unload trucks, inspect materials for damage or shortages, and transport inventory throughout the facility while following established safety procedures..
Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming and outgoing materials against bills of lading, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.
Prepare shipments by packaging materials, completing shipping documentation, and preparing loads in accordance with dispatcher-provided load plans.
Perform daily forklift and material handling equipment inspections; maintain inventory organization and replenish stock materials following established procedures.
Maintain compliance with ISO requirements, hazardous material handling procedures, and company safety policies.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.

QualificationsWhat You’ll Need
Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse or inventory systems
Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform basic math calculations involving counts, measurements, decimals, and fractions.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an hourly position. The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $22.50 per hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
