Support wafer and chip production in the Semiconductor Fab with a focus on chip pick and place operations. Additional duties include preparing customer shipments, general Fab maintenance, and managing hazardous waste and water treatment.
Requires a high school diploma and the ability to perform precision tasks using tweezers and microscopes. Candidates should be proficient with networked PC systems and basic Microsoft Office software.
Basic Function of the Job:
Support wafer and chip production in all areas of the Semiconductor Fab, focusing on chip pick and place. Additional responsibilities include: prepare materials for shipment to customers, assist with general maintenance in the Fab, and assist in waste water treatment operations and hazardous waste management.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
Must be able to handle small (mm size) die with tweezers with precision
Previous experience in semiconductor die/chip handling highly desirable, but not necessary
Excellent hand-eye coordination and comfortable with working on microscope-based tasks
Attention to details
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from the supervisor on specific tasks
Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competence
Ability to keep the workplace safe, clean, and orderly
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Basic level of skills in MS Word and MS Excel
