The technician is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/Chiller equipment ranging from 50 to 4000 Tons. This includes performing preventative maintenance, commissioning systems, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or technical certificate and EPA Universal Certification. A valid driver's license and preferably 5+ years of HVAC experience are required.

As a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician, you will be primarily responsible for repairing HVAC/Chiller equipment. You will use your knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and understanding schematics. Trane Technologies affords you the opportunity to work directly for a leading manufacture giving you access to technical support, training on newest technology and comprehensive career paths with opportunity for growth. In this position you will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face. You will be responsible for evaluating, servicing and repairing ranging from 50 Ton to 4000 Ton chillers and DX units.
Additionally responsible for their scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customers. Responsible for testing chillers, point to point testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned chillers or HVAC equipment.
